A solo aesthetics practice built around the moment a patient points at the mirror.

Blissful Aesthetics & Wellness is the independent med-spa of Marybell Rodriguez, a Dual Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. The website had to do what every aesthetics prospect does mentally — let them point at a feature, see what's possible, and book without ever feeling sold to.

An aesthetics practice where the prospect points before they read.

Blissful Aesthetics & Wellness is led by Marybell Rodriguez, a Dual Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with eight-plus years of experience in medical aesthetics. The practice offers fillers, anti-wrinkle treatment, microneedling, PRP/PRFM, liquid lipo, and skincare products — and recently expanded to a second location in Philadelphia, with the original space inside the MedCoShare building.

Aesthetics websites have a specific conversion problem: prospective patients almost always begin with a feature, not a service. They look in the mirror, point at a forehead line, a cheek hollow, a jawline, a smile fold — and only then do they search for what might address it. A site organized around treatment names asks the patient to do the translation. A site organized around features does the translation for them.

The brief was to design a homepage that mirrored the way patients actually arrive at aesthetics — and to do it on Squarespace, the platform Marybell already used to run her business.

"Patients don't come in asking for hyaluronic acid filler. They come in pointing at the mirror and saying 'this' — the website had to start there too."

Designing for the way patients actually arrive at aesthetics.

01

A custom design within Squarespace

Marybell already ran her booking and content on Squarespace, so we built deeply within the platform rather than migrating off it. Custom CSS, custom layout components, and a heavily-modified template gave the site a bespoke editorial feel without forcing the practice to learn new tools or change vendors.

02

An interactive face anatomy guide

The signature feature: a homepage diagram of the face where prospective patients click anatomical regions — forehead, cheeks, lips, jaw, neck — to surface the treatments that address each area. It mirrors the cognitive path patients already take and replaces a long list of treatment names with a single, intuitive visual surface.

03

A results gallery wired directly to booking

In aesthetics, the strongest evidence is visual proof. We built a results gallery that ties every before-and-after directly back to the service page that produced it — with a one-click path to booking that specific treatment. Trust and conversion in the same surface.

04

Voice and visuals, calibrated to a med-spa

The tone of an aesthetics site is the tone of the practice. We worked with Marybell on warm, expert copywriting — credentialed but not clinical, welcoming but not casual — paired with photography that surfaces her hands-on work rather than stock imagery. The voice does as much for trust as the credentials do.

A rotating slider of named patient testimonials — wedding-day prep, lip fillers, cheek work, jawline definition. Specific procedures, specific outcomes, specific names.

Before-and-after results, each linked directly back to the service page that performed the treatment. Visual proof and a one-click path to booking, in the same surface.

Specifications, not metrics.

The website continues to grow alongside the practice — most recently, the second Philadelphia location was added to the contact and services architecture. Without historical traffic data to baseline against, this is a record of the work itself.

Beyond the numbers above, the proof of work lives at the URL itself — the live site renders every design decision in motion: the interactive face guide, the results gallery wired to bookings, the rotating testimonial slider, and the warm, credentialed voice that distinguishes Blissful from the dozens of generic med-spa templates a patient might encounter on the way to finding it.

A digital storefront that thinks like the patient.

Blissful Aesthetics & Wellness is now operating across two Philadelphia locations, with a website that mirrors the cognitive path of an aesthetics prospect rather than fighting it. Patients arrive looking for a feature, find a treatment, see a real outcome, and book — all in a flow that respects how the decision actually gets made.

The strongest evidence for the work isn't on this page. It's at the URL itself — where every design decision is visible, in motion, and behaving exactly as it was built to.
